About the Bamboo Foliage-gleaner
The bamboo foliage-gleaner (Anabazenops dorsalis), also known as the crested foliage-gleaner or dusky-cheeked foliage-gleaner, is a species of bird in the Furnariinae subfamily of the ovenbird family Furnariidae. It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. The bamboo foliage-gleaner has been placed by different authors in genera Automolus and Philydor but genetic data support its placement in Anabazenops. It shares the genus with the white-collared foliage-gleaner (A. fuscus) and is monotypic.
