The Tocuyo sparrow (Arremonops tocuyensis) is a species of bird in the family Passerellidae, the New World sparrows. It is found in Colombia and Venezuela. The Tocuyo sparrow was formally described in 1912 with its current binomial Arremonops tocuyensis. The species' English name and specific epithet derive from El Tocuyo, a city and valley in Venezuela's Lara state, where the type specimen was collected. The Tocuyo sparrow is monotypic.
