The streak-throated canastero (Asthenes humilis) is a species of bird in the Furnariinae subfamily of the ovenbird family Furnariidae. It is found in Bolivia and Peru. The streak-throated canastero has three subspecies, the nominate A. h. humilis (Cabanis, 1873), A. h. cajamarcae (Zimmer, JT, 1936), and A. h. robusta (von Berlepsch, 1901).
