The line-fronted canastero (Asthenes urubambensis) is a Near Threatened species of bird in the Furnariinae subfamily of the ovenbird family Furnariidae. It is found in Bolivia and Peru. The line-fronted canastero has two subspecies, the nominate A. u. urubambensis (Chapman, 1919) and A. u. huallagae (Zimmer 1924).
