White-winged Cinclodes (Cinclodes atacamensis)

About the White-winged Cinclodes
The white-winged cinclodes (Cinclodes atacamensis) is a species of bird in the Furnariinae subfamily of the ovenbird family Furnariidae. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, and Peru. The white-winged cinclodes has two subspecies, the nominate C. a. atacamensis (Philippi, 1857) and C. a. schocolatinus (Reichenow, 1920). Some authors have suggested that it and the white-bellied cinclodes (C. palliatus) are sister species, but genetic tests were inconclusive.
