About the Philippine Magpie-Robin
The Philippine magpie-robin (Copsychus mindanensis) is a species of bird in the family Muscicapidae. It is endemic to the Philippines. It was formerly a subspecies of Oriental magpie-robin but was designated as its own species. It has a wide range of habitat including open forest, second growth, cultivated areas, gardens and agricultural areas up to 1,000 meters above sea level.
