The rufous-tailed antbird (Drymophila genei) is a species of bird in subfamily Thamnophilinae of family Thamnophilidae, the "typical antbirds". It is endemic to Brazil. The rufous-tailed antbird and the ochre-rumped antbird (D. ochropyga) are sister species. Both are monotypic.
