The golden-breasted puffleg (Eriocnemis mosquera) is a species of hummingbird in the "brilliants", tribe Heliantheini in subfamily Lesbiinae. It is found in Colombia and Ecuador. The golden-breasted puffleg is monotypic. However, at one time it was suggested that the northern and southern populations formed subspecies.
