'Maranhao-Piaui' Pygmy Tyrant (Myiornis sp.nov.Maranhao_Piaui)
About this bird
This taxon has not been formally described yet, so it has no scientific name and no encyclopaedia entry: xeno-canto tracks the recordings under the placeholder Myiornis sp.nov.Maranhao_Piaui, and even the English name is written in quotation marks because it is provisional. xeno-canto does hold recordings of the bird — they are the evidence that it exists — and this page will fill out once the description is published.
