The black-capped foliage-gleaner (Philydor atricapillus) is a species of bird in the Furnariinae subfamily of the ovenbird family Furnariidae. It is found in Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay. The black-capped foliage-gleaner is monotypic. It and the Alagoas foliage-gleaner (P. novaesi) form a superspecies.
