About the Warbling Doradito

The warbling doradito (Pseudocolopteryx flaviventris) is a species of bird in subfamily Elaeniinae of family Tyrannidae, the tyrant flycatchers. It is found in Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and Brazil. The warbling doradito is monotypic. However, what is now the ticking doradito (P. citreola) was previously included within it without being recognized as a subspecies. Taxonomic systems began separating them in 2010 based primarily on vocal differences.
