About the Curl-crested Aracari
The curl-crested aracari or curl-crested araçari (Pteroglossus beauharnaisii) is a near-passerine bird in the toucan family Ramphastidae. It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, and Peru. The curl-crested aracari was first described by Johann Georg Wagler in 1831 but the spelling of its specific epithet was not corrected until 2020.
