The long-tailed silky-flycatcher (Ptiliogonys caudatus) is a passerine bird in the family Ptiliogonatidae. It is found in Costa Rica and Panama. The long-tailed silky-flycatcher is monotypic. It and the grey silky-flycatcher (P. cinereus) are sister species.
