About the Upland Antshrike

The upland antshrike (Thamnophilus aroyae) is a species of bird in subfamily Thamnophilinae of family Thamnophilidae, the "typical antbirds". It is found in the eastern Andes of Bolivia and southeastern Peru. The upland antshrike is monotypic.
